A psychedelic exploration of sounds and riffs that can sometimes distract and more often pull you in and lose you somewhere in the middle of the track. Many of the songs use just the right amount of repetitiveness to lull you into a trance, yet this is not really a slow album and many of these tracks are just as dance-able as the pop hits of it’s time. The stand out tracks here are some of the best that The Flaming Lips have offered in years. My personal favourites are “Mr. Ambulance Driver”, “Free Radicals” & “The W.A.N.D.”. Enjoy.
