Apparently supposed to be a satire of the pretentious nature of concept albums poking light-hearted fun at the band, the audience, the critics, and the progressive rock genre; to me, it comes across as a pretentious concept album itself. I can recognize it for it’s musical skill and creativity, yet this is not something that I can sit and enjoy. Maybe you can and if so, all the power to you. That’s the beauty of music, it can connect with different people in different ways. Rock on!
