Embryonic is The Flaming Lips experimental jam album. The entire album is written around an extended jam that sounds at once primitive and futuristic. It clanks, rattles and echoes it’s way through a post-apocalyptic forest of scrap metal. It’s art-noise-rock broken up with a few more traditional songs. Favourite track: “Convinced of the Hex”.
