Conscious hardcore. Ferocious, raw and a bit demo-y, leaving the listener wanting more. It’s tragic that we won’t see a proper full release from Negro Terror as frontman Omar Higgins passed away this year at only 37. Negro Terror was not only the voice of Memphis, it was a voice that stood for those who needed it most, the discriminated, the outcast and the youth. It was a voice that was fierce, unwavering and desperately needed in today’s punk rock.
