Wrath of the Void falls somewhere into the void between the grunge legacy of Alice in Chains and early Peal Jam and the stoner metal legacy of Black Sabbath and the legions of bands that followed in Sabbath’s wake. At one time, before the grunge explosion there wasn’t such a large void between the grunge and metal genres and this sonic intersection can once more be heard as Ottawa’s Black Galaxy carve out a space for themselves with this mighty debut. Can’t wait to hear what comes next.
