Ambitious, to say the least. Joel Plaskett turns 44 and writes 44 songs and releases them across 4 albums all at once. Oh yeah, and he releases it when he turns 45 so of course he includes one bonus track to round out the total number of songs to 45. An impressive feat for the skilled song writer. Perhaps the most impressive part of the 44 listening experience is that it doesn’t feel too long.

Favourite Tracks: ‘Collusion’, ‘Just Passing Through’, ‘The Wizard of Taz’, ‘Tim’, ‘Catch 22’, ‘Disappear Me’, ‘Melt the Universe with Brotherly Love’, ‘I Lost It’, ‘Just Because’ & ‘West Cork Blended Irish Whiskey’
