Mounting tension gives way to mellow spacey-ness that builds back up to heavier crescendos that spill out into intricate instrumentals with late 80’s sci-fi theme synth and so on. With Omens, Elder hones their craft with refinement, complexity, constant movement and just a touch of camp.
