“I feel alright! Out of my mind on Saturday night” screams Iggy on the track 1970 before a madhouse sax solo escorts the song to it’s frenzied end. The album was released in 1970 and to be sure that song was about as close to Iggy and the Stooges life as any at the time. If you enter the Stooges’ absurd anarchic Funhouse, a place of hedonism, debauchery and raw unfiltered rock and roll, it is doubtful that you will be able to leave as the same person who entered. That is, if you are able to leave at all. Play this record at your own risk.
