This album gives me the tingles. It’s just so good, dark, energetic and fun as fuck. And the video for Sleep In The Heat made me shed a tear for all my lost pets. Anthemic gang vocals and bonkers pop punk at a pace that will make you want to punch your shitty boss in the face and start living a life that wouldn’t embarrass the teenage version of you. The title ‘The Dream Is Over’ is supposedly what the doctor told lead singer, Stefan Babcock, after the the tour for the first album shredded his vocal cords. Instead of retiring from singing ‘The Dream Is Over’ has a lot of yelling. So, yeah, don’t let the man get you down.
